Nearly forgot to post. Anyway, enjoyed yesterday’s outing/dinner.

So..wasn’t home for nearly the whole day. After playing soccer at szeron’s court, reached home at about 4, changed, ate one packet of maggi, and left home at about 6.15pm for dinner. Still reached amk mrt quite early, about 15 mins before the actual meeting time. Furthermore, with cikgu’s supposed ‘late’ arrival, I had about 20 mins before cikgu came to fetch me, faris and amira. Picked up faris at amk mrt Cheers and later firkim at serangoon. Ate at mad jack. And I’ll have to admit that it wasn’t that nice, lol. Maybe it’s because of the dish I chose or something, but it was okay overall cause I think I was just too hungry xD

After the meal, went to the seletar camp where cikgu told us about part of it’s history. Really cool to hear about the unrented house no. 13, about the parades at night, etc. The punggol jetty was really creepy, cause it was inside some forested area. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find the single tombstone that cikgu wanted us to see. Went to see mathilda’s house next. Too bad it was dark, cause we couldn’t really see the full structure of the house. Which reminds me, I have to find out about the house’s history. It’d be so cool.

Currently watching the Man Utd – Sunderland game. Zzz…Man Utd look so toothless and unlike themselves so far. Hope they can equalise and score soon.

7-Goal Thriller.

Hey all. Posting real late today. Just reached home about half an hour ago. Just watched the highlights to yesterday’s Manchester derby. Really good match, but full of errors, especially from the Red half of Manchester. Anyway, wanna wish Selamat Hari Raya and happy holidays (although it’s already over) to all!

Been out the whole day yesterday, and for about 9 hours (?) today. Really tired, but I’ll have to post it or I will have to wait until the weekend to post it. So might as well post it now. This year’s celebrations isn’t as big (wrong word to use, but who cares) as previous years, cause we skipped a lot of houses along the way. Not many people joined the main group that visited my grandma’s house in AMK, so there were fewer houses to visit. But even so, my family still, somehow, reached home late. Just fell asleep the moment I changed into my home clothes, lol.

Today was a much more slacky day. Took our own sweet time getting ready. We were supposed to leave at 10am, which to me is ridiculously early, and we ended up reaching my mum’s cousin’s house at about 4pm, lol. Either way, we still managed to cover up the number of houses we were supposed to visit today, mainly in the east (Tampines, Bedok, Pasir Ris). Lol, spent the most time at the last house, Cik Samad’s house, which wasn’t surprising. Managed to catch up with my cousins, which I haven’t seen for quite some time. Reached home at about 11.30pm.

Whoa, what a match. Didn’t get to watch it, but from the highlights, I’m sure it was a great match. Not too great for Man City though. But seriously, since when did Man Utd concede so many goals against ManCity? Stupid mistakes by Foster and Ferdinand gifted the Blues two free goals, which made the match more complicated for ManUtd cause they had to keep scoring to get back into the lead. Thrice ManUtd lead, thrice ManCity equalised. But really great goal by Owen. Lol, maybe Ferguson wants Owen to replicate Defoe’s supersub tag.

Stupid week. Filled with nothing but mugging and slacking. There isn’t much to study either, since this coming monday’s exam schedule consists only of 4 subjects, one of which has already been partially tested the week before (Bio Paper 4). Really don’t understand why it’s called paper 4, cause I can’t seem to think of what papers 2 and 3 could be. Mugging chem now. Hopefully, I did enough practice for amaths and mugged enough for physics. Gonna look through all the formulae/formula again later.

Seriously don’t know what’s wrong with my mum -.- Her menopause must be coming soon or something. Either way, it’s about time she got hers. I don’t understand why she still can have menses at her age (50?). She always thinks that she’s right, and that everyone else is in the wrong. She only seems to care about the results, and only the results. That’s all she ever thinks about and nothing else. It’s like she expects me to study 24/7 or something. Hope someone can knock some sense into her and tell her the difference between playing  the computer and listening to music via the computer or even watching a soccer match via the com, cause she can’t seem to tell the difference. Seriously, is there any harm in watching your favourite team play? Zzz…

Anyway, 10-men Man Utd comfortably beat high-flying Tottenham 3-1. After conceding from an overhead kick by Defoe, Man Utd rallied forward and managed to go into the break leading 2-1 after a wonderful free kick by Giggs and a first league goal for Man Utd by Anderson. A great pass forward in the second half by Fletcher allowed Rooney to nutmeg one Spurs defender and put him through on goal where he nutmegs Cuidicini to seal the 3 points for Man Utd. This win just proves that we are not a one-man team, unlike last season where we had to rely on Ronaldo to deliver the goods. I guess the only downside was Scholes being Scholes-ish and getting himself sent off after receiving a second yellow card for sliding in recklessly. He never was a good tackler, and I guess he never will be, lol.

Humbug

Hey all. Long time no post. Been lazy to post lately, but I couldn’t neglect the blog either, so I had to visit it again someday.

Day 16 of the fasting month, with 14 more to go. The fasting month really flies past quickly, huh? In the past, it seemed to take forever, but now, without realising, there’s only 2 weeks of fasting left. And now, there’s less than 2 months before the start of the ‘o’s -.-.

2 more hours before break fast. Don’t know what to do before then. I think that’s why I decided to post, cause I had nothing to do, lol. Haven’t been studying for the past two days. Gonna have to chiong through the remaining subjects for prelim during the remaining days. Definitely not looking forward to doing that.

Holland recently played an international friendly against japan. I think both teams must have been too bored while waiting for the other teams to qualify for the 2010 world cup to have played against each other. Anyway, Team Oranje still managed to brush aside an industrious Japanese side 3-0 with all three goals coming in the second half. Too bad sneijder got himself injured some time during the game. Hopefully he can get back to match-fitness soon cause holland will need him.

Hello again. Posting via the com, not the laptop. And I’m posting during the weekdays, which has never been done for like at least 3 months. Anyway, Singapore celebrated Nat’l Day on Sunday. I doubt those away from the floating platform even bothered about taking the pledge at 8.22pm. Don’t even see the link between S’pore’s 44th(44th right? lol, I’m not sure) b’day and the 8.22 ‘pledge moment’. Anyway, totally missed the celebrations, didn’t even watch it on tv, or at least saw glimpses of it. Missed the fireworks though, zzz.

Bad news from Cikgu Shaiful. Turns out only 1 distinction from those who took the Malay ‘O’s in June. Totally shocking, but I guess it was expected, cause the June paper is a lot harder than the November one. I myself didn’t expect to ace it, AT MOST A2.

Oh yeah. Man Utd lost to Chelsea. Managed to see the new Man Utd without the familiar faces of Tevez and Ronaldo, who departed for higher salaries, lol. I guess it’s safe to say that Man U really aren’t prepared for the new season, with Foster fumbling from simple back passes and a weak midfield in the second half. But the introduction of Scholes and Giggs did settle some nerves, but I think it was a little too late. Toward the end of the first half, Chelsea were beginning to get to grips with the game, although Man Utd did dominate overall. Second half was a total disaster. Chelsea were passing the ball around like nobody’s business and were deservedly the winners of the game, although the ‘deemed-legal’ elbow to Evra’s face from Ballack will definitely be debated. Really think the ref was bribed, cause it happened right in front of his face for all to see, and he still let play continue -.- Godamn Chris Foy.

Supposed to study during AP, but ended up going to Jer’s house to eat instant prata with condensed milk and cheese, lol. Watched the doubles match of Keith/Jer and Kyaw/Derrick. Really exciting match which ended in Keith/Jer beating Kyaw/Derrick in straight sets.

Managed to cover one chapter of ss at home, but at the rate I’m going, I doubt I’ll be able to finish making notes for every chapter by the start of prelims -.-

Gonna watch tv now. Dammit man. Definitely not looking forward to the one-day event around Singapore this coming Sunday. Waste of time if you ask me, zzz. Should have backed out from it from the start, cause my name’s already registered in the list.

Hello again. Didn’t post last week, guess I was too lazy. Furthermore, last week was considered quite busy, what with me falling ill on saturday, then watching the liverpool vs singapore game at the national stadium on sunday.

Man Utd lost to Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup after a goalless 90 minutes resulted in Bayern winning 7-6 on penalties. Too bad Evans was the culprit in sudden death, after the score was even after 6 penalties.

Really nothing to say today. Oh ya, cage on friday. Supposed to have celebrations on that day, but since our school is celebrating national day on the day itself, friday was announced an in-lieu holiday. So faris organised a cage visit on friday. Really looking forward to it, another 5-hour marathon.

Hello again. Damn F-upped day. Just because I didn’t go for ngaji class, I couldn’t use the laptop until about 5pm -.- Come on la, I read it almost everyday, isn’t it enough already? And isn’t ‘no mood to go’ a good enough excuse already? Zzz.

Man utd beat Malaysia IX 3-2 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium. Michael Owen scored the winner after coming off the bench. Rooney took the lead after 8 mins after making no mistakes from the rebound from Berbatov’s effort. Nani doubled the lead in the 26th min after an inch-perfect pass from Rooney on the left. A looping volley by Yahyah following a mistake by Evra and another mistake from substitute Foster allowed Malaysia’s IX to equalise. Substitute Owen, however, made no mistakes five minutes from time after M’sian keeper Maslias managed to cut out Gigg’s run into the box but was left out of position for ManUtd new boy Owen to score.

The latest HP6 movie was disappointing, like what Calvin and Charlynn pointed out. A lot of scenes cut out, especially the battle at hogwarts before the arrival of harry and dumbledore there by broomsticks and dumbledore’s funeral, but I really can’t blame them cause the movie would have lasted at least 4hours if they wanted to squeeze everything inside, but at least try to re-enact what was actually written in the book, not let harry hide under the staircase while doing nothing to save dumbledore -.- I think it’s a little bit dumb to just stand down there waiting for something to happen -.- And the Avada Kedavra was supposed to glow green, not blue. Or I might have seen it as blue. But at least we got a glimpse of what the Elder Wand looked like. Watching at Eng Wah was also not too bad, maybe a bit small, but the video quality’s good. The main point – read the book. Definitely more worth it.

Finally got to use the com. Could update my mp3, transfer the songs on this laptop over there and charge it.

Had the EM mock paper 1 yesterday. It was actually easier than I expected. Left some questions blank, as usual, but I’m confident of at least B3 for it =x

Hello again. Back to post again. Doubt there’ll be as much to write as yesterday’s post, but I’ll still post anyway.

Too bad the pictures I posted yesterday didn’t turn out right. They didn’t even end up in the order I set. But nevermind. And I forgot to say that Antonio Valencia actually looks like Nani o.O From certain angles, I think people might mistake him for the no. 17 player. Let’s hope that Valencia doesn’t end up to be as useless as Nani.

Read the online article about Tevez saying that he isn’t a Man Utd traitor by going to the blue side of manchester. Feel quite sad for the fact that he felt left out of the team. In another article, Ronaldo thinks that the 80 million pounds Real Madrid paid for his services is because he’s ‘worth it’ -.- I really don’t think he’s worth it. And I really hope he ends up a flop there, then we’ll see whether he’s ‘worth it’.

Zzz…have to wake up early tomorrow. Stupid stress test on the school’s iLearn website. And we have to follow tuesday’s timetable -.- Totally dumb if you ask me.

Stupid title, I know. Nothing to think of, so I just typed out part of the lyrics from New Divide.

K, let’s start off with the fact that Michael Owen is now part of Manchester Utd! Lol, when I first saw the headlines, my first thought was ‘WTH why him?’. But when I realised he joined on for free cause he was a free agent, I thought it was a good deal. I mean, so what if he always gets injured? Furthermore, it’s supposedly some kind of a ‘Pay-as-you-Play’ deal, so if he’s injured, it won’t mean that he’ll still get paid despite not playing, so more or less a win-win situation. Why it’ll benefit him is depending whether he’ll remain fit and bag a few goals cause being in such a prestigious(lol! somehow sounds wrong) club means that he’ll get noticed by Capello, instead of plying his trade in the coca-cola championships with that yellow-striped jersey of newcastle, lol.

But at least, ManUtd have made an effort to replace Ronaldo and Tevez. Firstly, Valencia. Now, Owen. Wonder who else will move in. I mean, with only(To them, at least. We can only dream of getting such money) 16 million pounds spent, they still have about 64 million pounds from the 80 million pounds acquired from ronaldo’s sale. With benzema out of the equation after moving over to Real and Ribery most likely following suit, I really hope they get to find another unpolished gem like how ronaldo was when we first got him. Watched Ice Age 3. Not the 3D one though, cause I doubt GV Yishun has it. Still nice anyway. As always, it started and ended with the squirrel and his beloved acorn, lol. Lots of funny scenes. Worth a watch.
